Where's the Bus?FLEET VIEWER NOW AVAILABLE FOR BPS BUSES!
Bedford's Transportation Department has installed Samsara GPS units on each of the buses in the fleet. Use the Fleet Viewer to watch as the bus nears the stop! No more standing in the rain or cold waiting for the bus to get there! Families can stay warm and dry while tracking the real-time location of their bus. They will know that once the bus passes a certain street, or enters their neighborhood, that it is time to head out to the stop so they are ready when it arrives! HOW TO ACCESS: 1. Go to the Samsara Fleet Viewer Link at: Link for Fleet Viewer 2. You will see a map displayed. In the upper left hand corner is says, "Search 48 vehicles." Click your cursor there to enter the route number of your bus. For example: "rt 23." You can also use the name of the route the elementary kids use, for example, "Star" if you child rides the Star Bus. A dark gray circle means it is parked. A green arrow means it is traveling and will be moving along the road in the direction of travel. In both scenarios, the bus is identified by the route information associated with it. 3. Save site as a bookmark on your phone for even more convenience! Note: Bus route numbers may have changed. Route stops may have changed.
